ABOUT ME

I’m a roll-up-your-sleeves and get-things-done kind of guy.  I love to fix and build things, cook, read and stay active all the time.

I love giving back to this community – my time spent on the Emergency Squad has been among the best years of my life and I’m running because I want to do even more.

I’ve  always been the kind of person who listens, hears & appreciates both sides of the discussion and understands a dissenting point of view that may be different from my own.  I strive to find a solution that is fair and balanced, always.

You’ll find me to be modest, reasonable and passionate about issues, but at the same time, highly approachable.

I hope to win your confidence and your vote for Chatham Township Committee so that I can do even more for the people of Chatham and make a lasting impact on a town that has given me so much.

The Early Years & College Life
I grew up in a suburb of Philadelphia and attended the University of Pittsburgh, where I earned a B.A. in Communications.

After college, I headed west...
Hooray for Hollywood!
I moved to Los Angeles and began a career working as a publicist representing A-level actors, directors and producers.

I went on to work at major motion picture studios in Los Angeles and New York City where I worked on several blockbuster studio films.

Moved to Chatham Township
My wife (Karen) and I bought what turned out to be a fixer-upper (before fixer uppers were "cool"). We were in over our heads, so I learned how to do everything myself.

We have lived in the same house since 2000, where we raised 2 daughters, both of whom graduated Chatham High School.

Big Brand Experiences
Commuting into the city, I worked at PR and digital agencies to help shape their brands & product launches.

Among the many companies I represented include Procter & Gamble, Nestle, IBM, General Mills, Hershey's, Gallo Winery, Samuel Adams Brewery, Absolut Vodka, Intercontinental Hotel Group and many others.

Bolide Communications
I ventured out on my own and started a successful marketing company where I've worked alongside some incredible brands. My primary focus is on beverage companies, handling imported beers from all over the world and other consumer goods.

I've also been instrumental in helping numerous Chatham-area entrepreneurs and organizations with website design & development, and a variety of not-for-profit organizations across the country.

Life in & Around Chatham
Working from home for the past 10 years has given me so many opportunities to be part of my kid's lives, and I took full advantage of that.
One Thursday afternoon in 2017, I knocked on the door at the Emergency Squad on Spring Street to ask what membership entails. It didn't take long before I signed up, and I've been an active member ever since (ask me about becoming a member).

In my spare time, you can find me on my bike riding through Chatham and beyond, playing pickleball and hiking or skiing a mountain whenever the opportunity strikes. You'll find me in the aisles of Shop Rite and the farmer's market, as I love to cook...or at Ace Hardware as I'm known for being hands-on and fixing things all around the house.

Unwritten Chapter
That's what's so exciting about this endeavor - the anticipation of what's to come. I'm excited to use my marketing expertise to enhance communications between the government and its people; empowering residents to feel informed and engaged in their community.

But most of all I'm excited to make a meaningful impact on a town that has given me and my family more than I could have ever dreamed possible.
